Study on Investigation of Soil Pollution Status in the Retired Site of a Thermal Power Plant

Abstract：TakingretiredsiteofathermalpowerplantinJiangsuprovinceas theresearchobject，thesoilandgroundwater inthesitearesampled，testedandanalyzedthroughon-siteinvestigation，datacolectionandpersonnelinterviews，anda systematicivestigationofsoilpollutionsatusisaiedout.uring tiserod，18soilmoitoringpontsand6goudater monitoring welsarescientifically setup tocollect soil and groundwatersamples and evaluate regional environmental quality.The testresults indicatethatallindicatorsofsoilandgroundwaterdonotexceedthescreeningvalues for Class Ilanduse，andtheretired sitedoes notbelong topollutedlandand mets thedevelopment andconstructionrequirements for Class I and I residential land，thus providing reference for the development and utilization of subsequentland use.
