Analysis of Dioxin Emission Control Technologies and Their Environmental Effects in Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Power Generation

Abstract:Municipal solid waste incineration power generationachieves waste reductionandenergyrecovery,yet italso generatespersistentorganicpollutantssuchasdioxins.Owing totheir hightoxicity,resistancetodegradation,andstrong bioaccumulativecharacteristics,thesepolutantscanenter environmental mediathrough multiple pathwaysandposerisks to ecosystems andhuman health.Amechanical grate-type waste-to-energy plant withadaily procesing capacityof 800 twas selectedastheresearchobject.Byintegratinghigh-temperaturecombustioncontrol,apidquenching inhibition,ctiated carbon injection combined withbag filtration,andselectivecatalyticreduction,acontinuous monitoring programcovering 12 consecutive quarters wasconducted.The influence of technological implementationand variations in operational parameters onpolltantreductionperformance wasanalyzed,andthe synergisticefects ofmulti-stagecontrolmeasureson regional environmental quality improvement were further examined.
