　　富有西方宗教文化内蕴又独具圣灵气息的教堂建筑，诞生在北京怀柔旅游风景区大规模低密度别墅区——龙山新新小镇中，在中国式高速度、大批量的开发模式中营造出人文色彩的文化氛围。
　　两个体量前后相接组成教堂的主体，入口处的附院呈现出开间8.4×8.4的内院空间，每个开间4.2m，这是通向主厅的前院，又是一处净化，沉淀心灵的空间。院内平铺的灰色石子，墙面裸露的混混凝土恰到好处将沉淀的意境在厚重与质感中蔓延。与前院并置的是同样平面大小的主厅，一主一附的屋面都呈45°斜面，却表现为两个一大一小，一凹一凸，一敛一扬的相反空间，于稳重的宗教空间里，融入了视觉上变化。建筑的立面材料采用了极具质感的蓝灰色玄武岩，厚重而肃穆。一系列20cm宽的竖向窄条开窗看似随意却又暗藏规律地排列其上，按一定比例系数向鬲处递增。阳光透过高高低低的窗口洒进教堂里。给肃穆的教堂氛围添进温暖，又让一道道的光束成为心灵净化的引导。
　　与小镇优美而不失现代气息的风景相对应，教堂周围的景观设计简练而概括参天的新疆杨树、毛石围墙、以及广场上可作坐凳的自然大条石，都塑造出与周边市俗居住不同的宗教气氛。
